Stefano Crescentini, born in Rome the 10th of July 1974. He is the italian voice of Jason Dohring.
Even though he is so young his career has been long in both television and cinema.
One of the names he dubbed was Jake Gyllenhaal in “Donnie Darko”.
( Interestingly: from what I understood from Jason Dohring Q.& A.in Toronto/London he’s a big fan of Donnie Darko movie - Im still searching for confirmation of this, I might have misunderstood because of the language problem , please if somedody remember that as me I’d love to have a confirmation from an american)- funny enough they are dubbed in Italian language from the same guy )

The 31/10/2008 the 1st season of Moonlight will be transmitted on Steel of Mediaset where Jason Dohring starred and again he’ll be masterfully dubbed from Crescentini. I’m sure he will succeed in giving Josef Konstan the sarcastic humor that’s typical of this wonderful Jason Dohring’s character.
As a huge fan of Jason I want to express my gratitude to Stefano Crescentini for the amazing job with Logan Echolls in Veronica Mars because his job made the sense of the original language.
(to the meet & greet in the Breakout Beyond in London Jason asked us (the italians group) if we aired Moonlight in Italy and we start to speak about our italian dubbing, he wanted to know the name of his italian voice. So I started to tell him how amazing job Crescentini made with Logan Echools because the italian version was just has sarcastic and humorous as the original one. He showed great interest in Crescentini’s work in general, so I gave him an Italian version of Veronica Mars.He was really enthusiastic and happy about this as you can see in the picture.)

La sua già lunga carriera vanta una serie di nomi della televisione e anche del cinema.

( curiosità: se non ricordo male Jason diceva alla Q.& A. di Toronto di essere un grandissimo fan di Donnie Darko e in Italia sarebbero doppiati dallo stesso Crescentini, sto cercando conferma di questa informazione in quanto pare io sia l’unica a ricordarla, non ho ancora trovato nessun post di Toronto delle fans americane che lo riporti… )

Il 31/10/2008 verrà trasmesso in prima visione su Steel di mediaset la serie tv Moonlight di cui Jason Dohring è protagonista e ancora una volta verrà magnificamente doppiato da Crescentini che sono sicura riuscirà a dare al ruolo di Josef Konstan quel sarcasmo, quello humor che tanto contraddistinguono il personaggio.
Come grandissima fan di Jason Dohring voglio ringraziare Stefano Crescentini per l’incredibile lavoro fatto con Logan Echolls in Veronica Mars in quanto è riuscito a rendere la sua parte divertente e sarcastica come nella sua versione originale.
(curiosità: alla convention Breakout Beyond di Londra ho avuto modo di parlare con Jason di questo incredibile lavoro fatto col “suo” Logan da Crescentini. Dato l’interessamento che mostrava per la cosa, ho pensato fosse divertente mostrargli un video in cui potesse vedersi doppiato in italiano e la mia iniziativa è stata ripagata dal grande entusiasmo con cui Jason l’ha accolta, come potete vedere nella foto)
