Something from the wonderful girls at Moonlight-Detective. A little pieces of the story :
“……Jason recounted that although he’d worked with Joel before (on Veronica Mars), he had to go in for a screen test. Prior to that, he met with Alex to discuss the show and his role. At this point, Alex mimicked smoking a cigar, affected a rather posh English accent, and drawled, “You must remembah, Jason, you must remembah…” Alex then paused and said, “I sound like a tool.” Jason responded with, “I was going to say something nice about you and that meeting, but now…” That kind of teasing went on all night. When Eric talked about landing the role, he started by saying, “Well, I was brought in to smoke a cigar with Alex…” Yeah, the cigar joke lasted pretty much the entire evening. Qualche informazione sull’evento al Paley Center di Beverly Hills – dove avrei dovuto partecipare ma essendoci 2 eventi ravvicinati di Moonlight scelsi il successivo, una fan convention sempre a L.A., scelta di cui mi pentii amaramente – direttamente dalle master di Moonlight-Detective che erano presenti all’evento:
“……Jason ha raccontato che anche se aveva già lavorato con Joel prima (in Veronica Mars) ha dovuto comunque fare un’audizione. Prima di questo però si è incontrato con Alex per discutere dello show e del suo ruolo in esso. In questo incontro Alex imitava un accento inglese snob fumando il sigaro e strascicando le parole, “devi ricordare Jason, devi ricordare..” Alex ha fatto una pausa e poi ha detto ” sembro un fantoccio”.Jason rispose con un ” Stavo per dire qualcosa di carino su di te e su questo incontro, ma ora…” Questa sorta di scenetta è andata avanti tutta la sera. Quando Eric si è messo a parlare del giorno che è approdato al suo ruolo ha cominciato dicendo ” Mi stavo fumando un sigaro con Alex…” Si, la faccenda del sigaro è praticamente stata con noi tutta la sera. Algo de las aportaciones de las maravillosas chicas de Moonlight-Detective. Unos fragmentos de la historia :
“……Jason contó que , aunque había trabajado antes con Joel ( Silver) en ” Verónica Mars ” , tuvo que hacer una audición. Antes de eso, se encontró con Alex para comentar la serie y su papel. En este punto , Alex simuló fumar un cigarro y fingiendo un bastante afectado acento ingles , alargando las palabras , dijo : “Debes recordaaaar , Jason , debes recordaaaar “. Alex entonces hizo una pausa y añadió “sueno como una herramienta”. Jason respondió : “Iba a decir algo bonito sobre ese encuentro , pero ahora…” Esa guasa duró toda la noche. Cuando Eric habló sobre como entrar en su personaje , comenzó diciendo “bueno, lo hacía fumando un cigarro con Alex…” Sí , la broma del cigarro se repitió a lo largo de la noche . Quelque information sur l’événement au Paley Center de Beverly Hills, directement fournie par les coordinatrices de Moonlight-Detective qui y ont participé. J’aurai dû y participer aussi, mais comme il y avait deux événements très proches j’ai choisi le successif, une réunion de fans toujours à Los Angeles. Choie dont je me suis amèrement repentie.
«…Jason a raconté que même s’il avait déjà travaillé avec Joel (dans la série Veronica Mars), il a quand même dû faire une audition. Avant de cela il s’est toutefois rencontré avec Alex pour discuter du spectacle et de son rôle. Pendant ce rencontre Alex imitait un accent anglais très snob, fumait le cigare et traînait les mots «tu dois te rappeler Jason, tu dois te rappeler…». Puis Alex a fait une pause et a dit «je semble un mannequin». Jason a répondu «Je voulais dire quelque chose de joli sur toi et sur ce rencontre, mais…». Cette scène est continuée pour toute la soirée. Quand Eric s’est mis à parler du jour dans lequel il a obtenu son rôle, il a commencé en disant «J’étais en train de fumer un cigare avec Alex…». Oui, l’affaire du cigare nous a accompagnés toute la soirée. Toute la distribution a parlé de comme elle soit heureuse d’avoir participé au spectacle…».
