Moonlight Gala – Chicago, IL – 31/10 – 2/11 2008

The Moonlight Gala has been organized from a group of American fans in Chicago. The guests meeeting ( Jason Dohring, Jodan Belfi and Bryan White) was for the afternoon of the second day for the Q&A section. The first who arrived was Jason Dohring and the Moonlight fans started to ask some questions to him. Unfortunately the audio was very bad in the room and because of that and the language- which of course it’s not mine -I’ve understood just a couple of things of this official meeting. He talk about his official website and he promised it will be on line very soon, maybe in a couple of months – www.JasonDohring.com – He also spoke about Washingtonienne, his next show, telling they’ve started to shoot the Pilot in Baltimore and maybe something in Washington, he said he’s very happy to be in this new drama-comedy but I didn’t understand if something about his type of character is came out,  like “will he be a good guy as in his real life or he’ll play masterfully again the perfect bad boy? ”- I know this is the information every fans of him is waiting for  – He talk about his very good friendship with Alex O’Loughlin telling a story about one of their lasts meeting and he seemed to appreciate very much the last 4 episodes of Moonlight where he really liked the storyline which was coming out about Josef Kostan. I keep asking to the American fans who was there to help me in understanding his words for my website but for now it seems nobody remember more than me and no transcript was posted . An autograph section with the 3 actors was in the end of the Q&A with nice official pictures offered from the Gala organizers. The evening was for a dinner/party in the Hotel where the guests have come table to table as a sort of meet & greet to have some chats with us and to take the pictures with our personal camera. They’ve been very kind, nice and willing to talk  with all of their fans and we had a very easy time. Unfortunately I had to leave the party before the actors because of my work ’s schedule for the next few days I was in u.s for, but I knew from other fans they had a very nice time speaking with them about nearly the end of the party. Enjoy the pictures from my camera and from the others fan too after the Italian version of this post.

A very big “thank you” goes to the actors, 3 amazing, easy guys, friendly and passionate in their work, very kind with fans…they made this like a time with a couple of friends speaking about their favourite show… A special thanks to Jason Dohring always so kind with his devoted fans, meet him again it was a big pleasure.

Il Moonlight Gala è stata una convention organizzata da un gruppo di fans americane a Chicago. L’incontro con gli ospiti ( Jason Dohring, Byan White e Jordan Belfi) era fissato per il secondo giorno alle 15.00, per il consueto appuntamento con le interviste ufficiali. Il primo ad arrivare è stato Jason Dohring e le fans di Moonlight hanno comiciato a fargli qualche domanda. Sfortunatamente l’audio era davvero pessimo e per questo motivo e anche per qualche problema con la lingua americana non sono riuscita a capire che qualche dettaglio. Ho tanto sperato che le organizzatrici del gala avrebbero postato i transcipt delle interviste nella loro lingua nei loro vari blog, siti e forum ma al momento nessuna di loro ha postato questa informazione. Jason ha parlato della prossima apertura del suo sito ufficiale promettendo che sarebbe stato on line in un paio di mesi (www.JasonDohring.com), ha poi parlato di Washingtonienne, il nuovo show di cui ha superato brillantemente un casting molto accurato da parte della produttrice Sarah Jessica Parker ,dicendo che le riprese dell’episodio pilota erano già cominciate a Baltimore e che avrebbero girato anche qualche giorno a Washington. E’ apparso molto soddisfatto di questo suo nuovo ingaggio ma sfortunatamente non sono riuscita a capire se qualcuno gli ha chiesto del suo nuovo personaggio, cose di cui tutti ci poniamo delle domande, del tipo : sarà il bravo ragazzo che è nella sua vita reale oppure tornerà ad interpretare magistralmente il suo tanto famoso “bad boy?”. Ha parlato della sua meravigliosa amicizia con Alex O’ Loughlin raccontando di un episodio avuto con lui di recente facendo acquisti insieme asserendo che la giacca che portava gliel’aveva fatta comprare Alex il quale “può permettersi di portare di tutto perchè è Australiano”. Fra i suoi episodi preferiti in Moonlight ci sono gli ultimi 4 dove ha davvero apprezzato la storia che stava venendo fuori a proposito di Josef Kostan, il suo personaggio. Dopo le interviste c’è stato il momento degli autografi con foto ufficiali offerte dal Gala dove ho scoperto che Jordan Belfi è italo/americano di terza generazione. Con tutti e tre gli attori si è parlato di ferie in Italia, di doppiaggio italiano e di Moonlight che era alla sua prima tv in Italia. La serata del sabato era dedicata ad una cena tutti insieme prevista di party finale. Dopo cena gli attori sono venuti tavolo per tavolo a parlare coi fans e a scattare fotografie con le nostre macchine fotografiche. Gli attori sono stati davvero disponibili, amichevoli e al gioco e abbiamo passato un’oretta davvero gradevole finchè è iniziato il party dal quale me ne sono andata prima degli attori. Si è saputo comunque che i tre sono rimasti per diverso altro tempo a chiacchierare amichevolmente con le fans. Godetevi le fotografie che seguono.

Un grandissimo ringraziamento agli attori, ragazzi davvero disponibili, alla mano ed  amichevoli …appassionati del loro lavoro e davvero gentili coi fans. Grazie a loro abbiamo passato del tempo come in mezzo a degli amici parlando del nostro show preferito. Un grazie particolare va a Jason Dohring che come sempre è stato delizioso con le sue fans… meraviglioso, come sempre.
