Struck, aggiornamenti… Ecco una newsletter dalla produzione di “Struck”, il cortometraggio girato da Jason Dohring con “qualche amico” come dice lui in un’intervista a Daemons tv. In poche parole la newsletter dice che il cortometraggio è andato molto bene ed ha ricevuto ottime critiche e diversi premi in vari festival negli stati uniti. Il cortometraggio sarà presto disponibile in DVD.Una buona pubblicità per JD!

Struck update… There have been some more exciting things happening with Struck that we wanted to share with you, our friends:)

1. Struck won best “Best Short Film” at the Big Bear Lake Film Festival.
2. It also won two awards at the South Dakota Film Festival for “Best Film” and “Best Narrative.”
3. Struck won second place at the Rhode Island festival in the Best Comedy Short category and will be shown again as part of the RIIFF (Rhode Island International Film Festival) Third Tuesday Encore Film series that runs from October through June.
4. Struck was also accepted in to the 19th annual St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival in Canada as our writer/producer is female. :)
5. Nathan Lorch (Producer) was interviewed for the South Dakota film festival, which you can see here:http://www.aberdeennews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080918/OUTANDABOUT/809180310/-1/RSS02&rssfeed=RSS026. Struck was just accepted in to the Tulsa United Film Festival (http://www.tulsaunitedfest.com) and the BEFILM THE UNDERGROUND FILM FESTIVAL in New York ().
This is now a total of 41 festivals screening Struck with 10 awards in all! We have hit a bug in getting the music license for the “Over the Rainbow” song in order to sell DVDs. This has been holding up our distribution of the film and we are looking into it and will have a handling soon. Thank you for being patient.

But…at the end of the day what we think the most about is our audience, their reaction to the film and the fact that we have friends like you who are always caring about our art form and what is happening with it.
